Utica — The Utica Boilermaker is dedicated to leading the healthy lifestyle movement through exercise and fun. In 1978, the Boilermaker began as a 15K road race to celebrate founding sponsor ECR International’s Utica Boiler 25th anniversary with 876 runners. Today it is a week-long extravaganza drawing nearly 20,000 runners from around the world.
Vernon — The harness racing track was opened in 1953 near Vernon, NY, and quickly became one of the most popular harness tracks in the country. he resort features a casino with almost 800 machines, spacious hotel amenities, fabulous dining, horse racing, and holds many major events in Central NY.
Utica — The F.X. Matt Brewing Company is a family-owned brewery in Utica, NY. It is the fourth oldest family-owned brewery in the United States, having brewed beer since 1988. Its most popular product is the Saranac line of beers; soft drinks such as ginger beer and root beer are also sold.
Utica — The AUD is home to the Vancouver Canucks hockey league affiliate, the Utica Comets, and dozens of additional events throughout the year. The AUD is also ranked #8 in “The 10 Coolest Hockey Rinks in the World” by Complex Magazine and the 8th best AHL arena by Stadium Journey in 2014.
Clinton — This beautifully maintained trail can be found across the street from the main campus of Hamilton College in Clinton, NY. This 0.7mi path meanders through the woods there you will come across flowing streams, footbridges, waterfalls, lots of birds, and many wildflowers …an amazing visual journey.
Norwich — A not-for-profit educational facility in Norwich, NY, that collects, preserves, interprets, and exhibits vehicles related to the evolution of transportation, with particular emphasis on the role of the automobile and its impact on American culture.
Clinton — A private, Liberal Arts college in New York State that features a need-blind admission policy and an open curriculum. Hamilton College continuously carries rankings in many categories as one of the top Liberal Arts colleges in the United States.
